Why fast food should or shouldn't be in High Schools

Fast food should be in school. Subway would be the best thing ever in High School. People couldn't complain because its still healthy. Also, Taco Bell would be nice too. So it should be in school.

Caged Bird

Melinda feels like a caged bird. She has nobody, and doesn't fit in. She wants to be like the free bird, have friends, do things but she is afraid of the other kids and what they will think. So she sits like the caged bird, waiting on nothing to change and sings her song, hoping to be heard.https://encrypted-tbn0.gstatic.com/images?q=tbn:ANd9GcSzLenjYypQ-KN35jOEISebvBTmwO5M77LGSach_MauzKsuUYy1Jg

Hegemony

One time when I felt hegemonized is when Mrs. Martin made us were those letters. She used her teacher powers for us to wear the letters. She also put a grade for it. So we had to wear the letter. This has been one time I felt hegemonized.

Connecting with Hester

One time when I felt lonely was when I was left in Walmart by myself. My mom and dad had left me in there and they told me they would be right back. I was 7 at the time, and my brother wasn't with me at the time. I ran to the place where they do an all call, crying and they finally came and got me. That was one time when I felt lonely.

Roles of Women in the 1800s.

Women's role in the 1800s included of many chores that they had to do on a daily basis. On Monday they would do their laundry. On Tuesday would be ironing and mending any torn clothes that they would had. Baking would be on Wednesday and Saturday, daily tidying of kitchen and parlor, and thorough cleaning on Thursday and again on Saturday. They would always be taking care of the children, cooking three meals a day, carrying water and keeping the fire burning on the stove. About each chore took at least an hour out of their day. Women had charge of the garden, livestock and poultry. If she did not work in the fields herself, she provided room in the house for the extra help that did work in the fields. It is obvious that in this period of time, women’s lives were fraught with tensions. In all, their job was to raise a family and take care of the house. A woman divorcing her husband was not heard of.

Tom Walker was not a man to be troubled with any fears of the kind. He did not fear the devil when he confronted him. His wife wanted him to sell his soul to the devil so they could become rich, he obliged and said no. He didn't care when Absalom Crowninshield died and he said "Let the freebooter roast, who cares!". He was not a man to stick at trifles when money was in view. He only cared, about himself. The only reason he went to look for his wife is because she had valuables in her pocket. In the story it says, He leaped for joy, for he recognized his wife's apron and supposed it to contain the household valuables. The story says he consoled himself for the loss of his property with the loss of his wife, for he was a man of fortitude. He was a hypocrite and tried to go to church when he realized that he was going to Hell. Also, he was a greedy old usurer, and did not try to help people but take more of their money instead.

I chose the Bear because I am courageous, I chose the Cougar because I am a leader and encourages responsibility for life. I chose the Squirrel because I am very prepared in what I do. I chose the Seal because I ask a lot of questions. Last the Thunderbird because I am a leader to some of my peers.
